With nearly three decades of experience as a music theatre director and vocal coach performer, Ellen helps students build the technical foundations and emotional depth necessary for a life in the arts. As a performer, I practice exactly what I preach. My cabaret performances are defined by a deep commitment to character work and narrative arc. Musical performance is a celebration of the love and passion that has defined my career as an artist and educator. It is also a lifelong learning experience, which I practice and share with my students. Ellen can facilitate vocal workshops or masterclasses on voice pedagogy, vocal presentation, acting skills, and more. Her workshop 'Singing the Story - Acting the Song' was presented at the Union County Teen Arts Festival in Spring 2026. Ellen also adjudicated vocal performances at the Mercer County Teen Arts Festival in May 2026 and acted as a judge for the New Jersey Thespian Society State Festival.
